Krueger/Hughes Wedding

In February of 2012, my mother got married. I was the "everything" girl. The wedding coordinator, the Maid of Honor, and of course, the Photographer. It was a busy, busy weekend, and it was originally planned to be an outdoor wedding by the lake, but days of endless rain changed those plans.

However, the wedding was beautiful and everything else went fairly smoothly. I wore my heels for the ceremony only, and then was thankful for my ballet flats and then the ability to just lose the shoes all together when even those started to hurt.

Seeing as I was in the wedding, no ceremony photos were taken. But I was able to get a few pre-ceremony photographs in:

Thanks to the inspiration found on Pinterest (I don't know how this wedding would have been planned without it) my mother's "something blue" was the glittery decals on the bottom of her shoes.

So despite the weather, everything turned out fantastic and to be honest, the whole night is a blur for me. Except for the huge downpour I got stuck in on the way back to the hotel. Now that was fun!
